SQL*Forms 3.0:-
The SQL*Forms 3.0 was totally a Character User Interface Front End tool
the developer was required to learn a few shortcuts to perform many actions.
there was no mouse sensation in those forms.
There was no PL/SQL used in those forms and hence named as SQL*Forms.
For branching and decision statements your need to give the label to the success and to failure to jump to the sub part of the main trigger. and hence got the best substitute of the if then and else end if statements at that time.
