sqlforms

SQL*Forms:-

A brief history about forms by Oracle Professional Kuldeep Sharma is as below:-

As per my view:-

The Oracle started the development of forms and named it as SQL*Forms
I started the development of SQL*Forms from version 2.3 and then gone thorough the following and says as

The versions Most Popular were SQL*forms 2.3 and 3.0

These forms were CUI(Character User Interface) : The Most popular versions of database used for such forms was Oracle ver 6.0 and 7.0
The OS which was used in both the database as well as forms development was Unix.

After that Forms 4.5 came with the GUI(Graphical User Interface):The Most popular versions of database used for such forms was Oracle ver 8.0 and above : The publicity of GUI Attracted the Windows OS for the Developer 2K for such forms.

After that forms 6i with Oracle 9i and then forms 10g with oracle ver 10g and 11g both and now a days forms 11g with Oracle database 11g and higher versions.

What i experienced from all the versions of the Oracle Forms is that at every step there was a drastically change in these version of database as well as the front end of the D2K.
